The father-of-two, who is expecting his first child with 24-year-old medical student Emily Macdonagh, admitted that he is particularly excited about Christmas this year.
‘I just said to Emily that this'll probably be the best one we'll ever have as it's the first time that she'll have Christmas as a mum,' the reality star admits.
‘Even though the baby's not due until next year and we don't know what we're having, she's still a mother - it's quite an amazing time!'
And the 40-year-old enjoys the homely life he has built with his girlfriend.
‘Look, Em’s 24 and you’d think she’d probably be a little bit more into the party scene bus she certainly isn’t. It’s nice!’
The Insania star has just finished filming the final series of his hit reality show My Life, a decision which is said to have left him torn, as it signified ‘the end of a chapter’ which included late brother Andrew, who tragically passed away last year.
He previously admitted Emily was part of the reason he decided to quit the show, explaining:
‘I am with someone who is a lot more private and even though I am public and I could never ask for privacy, you have to also respect the other person. But it's not just that, I do honestly think that we've done it and the public have been amazing, and I would hate it for the ratings to start slipping and then I have to stop.’
