Peter Andre and Emily MacDonagh, 25, recently tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony.

The couple didn't hold back when choosing their entertainment for their big day, opting for African dancers, Greek plate smashing - in homage to Pete's Greek Cypriot heritage - and a performance from the singer himself.

But, despite all of that, Pete has now revealed that he was only ever nervous when it came to his bride’s big moment.

The 42-year-old revealed in his new! column: “I was a little bit nervous, because everyone kept going on about Ems’ dress, so I didn’t know what to expect.

“But when she walked in I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ She was just… wow!”

He also explained that the couple’s little girl, Amelia, was supposed to be walking down the aisle as a flower girl - but that she threw a little wobbly at the last minute.

Pete said: “I said Emily was 15 minutes late, but that’s not strictly true - it was Mills who was late!

“She was too shy to walk down the aisle, so my sister Debbie had to carry her.”

He added laughingly: “My 18 month old is already a diva, ha ha!”

But, despite the fact he was kept hanging at the top of the aisle, Pete (unsurprisingly) had an amazing day.

Speaking from the heart, the happy newlywed told OK! magazine that he had "the most fantastic day of our lives" alongside their family and friends, including Peter's two children from his previous marriage to Katie Price, Princess and Junior.

He shared: "I couldn’t have wished for a better day. I’ve married the love of my life and I couldn’t be happier.

"It’s been lovely for my kids to be here and to be such a big part of our special day too - we really couldn’t be any happier."

Congratulations once again to the happy couple!
