The 40-year-old, who is expecting a baby with 23-year-old medical student Emily, has revealed his plans to be more ‘private’ once the new baby is born.
Peter's children with ex-wife Katie Price, 8-year-old Junior and 6-year-old Princess, are no strangers to featuring in his reality show Peter Andre: My Life.
But now the Mysterious Girl singer has revealed that having a baby with a partner who is not in the limelight has made him rethink his approach to family life.
‘Things will be done slightly differently. I’ve got to understand that I am also with someone that’s not in the industry so we can approach this differently, which is great,’ he admitted to a UK newspaper.
The Australian-born star also revealed that the tenth series of his show Peter Andre: My Life will be the last one for a while.
‘We’re going to change it next year because this will be my tenth series. I always wanted to get to ten.
‘At the end of this year we might just do one off specials here and there. I want to go on a high.’
He added: ‘Next year I am going to get my black belt in Kung Fu so we might do a ‘”Pete hits Hong Kong”. Stuff that leads it slightly more into presenting and slightly less full-on reality.’
Pete has been into the martial arts since he was a teenager, and by collaborating with his son’s martial arts teacher he plans to put his stamp on 500 sports centres throughout the country.
The father-of-two’s aim is to keep the kids off the streets and teach them self-defence and self-discipline in a positive way.
But Peter hasn’t ruled out a comeback to reality TV.
‘We can always come back to a full reality show in five years time. It’s not the end,’ he reassured his fans.
