According to startling new revelations, Kim’s father Rob Kardashian (who acted as OJ’s attorney) found him sitting in the then 14-year-old’s room right before he went on the run from police.
Lawrence Schiller, who worked as Simpson’s legal advisor, wrote in his book American Tragedy: The Uncensored Story that he threatened to kill himself in her bedroom.
He then went on the run driving through California in a famous car chase that was shown on TV screens around the world.
After he was arrested, OJ was put on trial. The court drama lasted for 16 months and was televised, making it one of the most famous cases in history.
The family was divided over the trial, with momager Kris Jenner on the side of the prosecution with Nicole Brown’s family, and dad Robert defending OJ Simpson.
Speaking to ABC News, 59-year-old Kris said: “At the end of Nicole's life, I think she finally was at a place where she knew she had to be more vocal with what was going on and she was in trouble.
“The one thing she would tell all of us by the time, you know, it got to that level was, 'He's going to kill me and he's going to get away with it.'"
OJ was eventually acquitted of Nicole’s murder, but was later convicted of armed robbery and kidnapping.
He was sentenced to 33 years in a Nevada jail where he is currently still serving his sentence.
