But, as her due date draws closer, the pregnant 32-year-old has revealed that she has recently begun questioning her skills as a mother.

Speaking in her blog at Baby.co.uk, Natasha explained: "At parents’ night we were told our child should be able to dress and undress themselves for PE, be writing their full name and after just one week at school we were told we are expected to drop them off at the gates while they go and line up themselves, all confident and grown up.

"Cue drama – I immediately went into panic mode."

The singer then revealed that she dresses four-year-old son Alfie, who is beginning school for the first time, and that she has to give him a "million hugs" before she can leave him with a teacher.

She added: "To top things off, he still drinks a bottle as his comforter, one in the morning, one at night."

Natasha, who is now very near her due date, explained that she was left wondering if she was a rubbish mum.

She said: "What if he gets to school and gets upset because he can’t do what the other children can do? Will he pick it all up quickly? Have I mollycoddled him too much? "

"The questions floating round my head are endless."

Despite all of this, however, Natasha - who has two other sons, Josh, 11, and Harry, 9 - has managed to calm herself down.

She said: "What I have learnt over the years is that you have to go with your instincts and really trust them. Guidelines are great, they give us confidence in areas where we might not know entirely what we’re doing but seriously, mummy does know best and baby does too, they’ll let you know when something’s not right."

Wise words, Natasha!
