Speaking to a UK website, Michelle said she hasn’t planned anything and that she isn’t worried.

The 26-year-old said: “There is no plan. I’m going to go with the flow and if I get another job straight away, great, but if I don’t then I don’t.

“I things in the pipeline, but nothing’s set in stone.”

Michelle spoke about the success of other former Corrie actresses, and said she wanted to try a mix of new things.

She said: “Suranne Jones went on to do amazing things, and Katherine Kelly hasn’t stopped working since leaving. I’d love to follow suit. I’d like to do a bit of drama, a bit of comedy. Lots of variation, ideally.”

While she may not be too concerned with jumping straight back into work when she does finishing filming for Corrie, Michelle admitted that as soon as she met fiancé Mark Wright, she knew she wanted to marry him.

She hinted that marriage and children are at the top of her list

Michelle has been seeing former TOWIE star Mark, 27, since last year and the pair got engaged while on holiday in Dubai after being together for nine months.

“The idea of marriage is so appealing and with Mark I knew straight away,” she said.

If she’s not working, is there a chance Michelle will want to focus on having children with Mark? She said: “My mum’s told me how exhausting it is but I know when the time comes I’ll be ready.”
