She may have had the wedding of her dreams followed by a romantic honeymoon with new husband Mark Wright, but Michelle Keegan has had for return from Cloud 9 briefly to address some cruel comments about her weight.

The 27-year-old was forced to deny she was on Facebook after a fake page in her name hit back at ‘skinny shaming’ comments following a series of honeymoon bikini snaps where her slim figure is on show.

The page claimed that she wrote: “Calling me ‘anorexic’ and ‘too skinny’ is just as bad as someone being called ‘fat' and 'obese’… I personally do not believe in dieting (I do try to go to the gym 3 times a week) and think you should just eat everything in moderation.

“For example if I have an unhealthy lunch, I’ll have a healthy dinner and vice versa. I think people would be surprised at how much I actually eat! I have a very big appetite, I love food too much to diet.”

The page then added: “So for all you people telling me to ‘go eat a burger’… Believe me I do! I actually had 3 this weekend so thanks for your concern but I’m good.”

Husband Mark Wright, 28, posted a revealing picture of the actress during their sun-soaked getaway, writing alongside it: “One of the boys just asked me if I wanted to go golf. My answer.... I'll stick with my view thanks..... Ladies and gents I give you #mrswright”

Michelle has been forced to set the record straight after a series of reports came out following her recent wedding and honeymoon.
