Mel, 40, teased that the band might have something planned to celebrate the anniversary of heir debut single.
She said: “I’d like to think that we’ll get our act together and do something to acknowledge 20 years of Wannabe.
“You might see a few of us having a little dance about on stage, but we’ll see what we can do for you.”
But if they do reunite, it seems as if they’ll be doing it without Posh Spice. In an interview in January, Vic, 29, said: “I won’t ever do it again. Doing the Olympics was an incredible honour.
“I was so proud to do it, so proud to be British. That was the perfect time to say, ‘That’s great. Thank you to everybody, but no more.’ Sometimes you’ve got to know when to leave the party.”
While teasing the possible reunion, Mel C also took a swipe at band mate Geri Halliwell’s latest solo effort.
Geri, 41, released latest single Half of Me in Australia last year, but it didn’t do as well as she was hoping.
Mel said: “I don’t think it was her best work, I think she is aware of that. It’s a shame how it was received. It didn’t do very well over there.”
