They’ve had prolonged periods of time apart during their 10-year romance – now Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan are once again going long-distance as the actress jets to Australia for three months for a new work project.

Michelle – who’s headed down under to film her new show Ten Pound Poms – shared photos of herself enjoying the beach and her new Aussie lifestyle.

But fans were left concerned for the couple, with one writing, “Michelle going away again?? Hope all’s OK with them”, and another adding, “Why doesn’t he go with her?”

Michelle previously spent eight months away from Mark filming for BBC show Our Girl in South Africa and Malaysia, while Mark lived in LA for three years presenting TV show Extra, and their time apart previously sparked rumours of trouble.

But insiders say the couple – who celebrated their seventh anniversary last week apart – are making a conscious effort, as before, to make sure the distance doesn’t affect their relationship.

A source says, “Mark’s happy that Michelle’s living her career dreams, and he’ll always support her. They have a lot of love and trust for one another and they’ve vowed to make it work. But they know time apart can take its toll, so they’re making sure to stay in touch as much as possible.”

Meanwhile, Mark – who became an uncle for the first time in February when his brother Josh welcomed baby Joshua with wife Hollie, and again last month when his sister Jess gave birth – appears to be getting broody, after sharing multiple pictures of himself cuddling nephew Joshua, writing how the love he has for him is “unexplainable”.

When asked about babies in the past, Michelle has insisted it’s a private matter and once said, “I’m used to people asking me but it’s no one else’s business.”

And now insiders are saying that becoming an uncle again has made Mark think about family plans.

The insider says, “Mark’s been feeling incredibly broody ever since he became an uncle earlier this year. They’ve always agreed not to put any undue pressure on themselves as they’re both so busy, but friends can’t help but wonder how much longer it will be before the Wrights have a new addition to the family.”
