So what was top of the Essex boy’s list of priorities? An intense gym workout, obviously.
The 28-year-old hunk took to Instagram to share before and after snaps of his workout, complaining about the possibility of being unable to go the gym while he recovers from the op.
He wrote: “Hospital [thumbs down sign]. Hospital to be told I have to have an op on my foot. Only thing to do. Hit the gym hard, before being bed bound. Got to lose some before I pile it on [sic].”
But the bad news clearly didn’t affect Mark’s determination, as he later shared a very sweaty selfie and wrote: “Just absolutely beasted myself !! Feels great !! Ignore the Barnet !! [sic].”
TV presenter Mark broke his foot in September and, at the time, took to Twitter praise wife Michelle Keegan for being ‘amazing’ during his recovery.
He added: “When you break a bone, there’s only one thing to do, sit, chill, watch films and eat biscuits!!
“Mmmmmmm nearly done the whole jar!! [sic].”
It sounds like that pre-op workout was a good idea, doesn’t it?
