The CBB star, 26, wrote in her UK newspaper column that Britain as a nation are envious and would rather hit out that successful people than make something of their own lives.

She said: “We don’t encourage or reward success – in fact, quite the opposite. We live in nation of green-eyes monsters, people with chips on their shoulders and citizens too lazy to go out and actually get what they want.”

Controversial mum-of-one Luisa admitted she can’t understand why successful people – women especially – get so much hate.

“I don’t know why people despise the successful so much,” she said. “Without getting too Samantha Brick on you, I know I am a successful, independent woman therefore I am often subject to abuse from pathetic people eating TV dinners in tracksuits at home.”

The former Apprentice contestant said that British people lack motivation to go out and find jobs, and insisted they shouldn’t be unhappy if they haven’t attempted to better their lives.

She said: “In the UK, it can sometimes seem like there is no motivation to go out, get a job and better yourself when you’re actually better off on benefits. It’s easy to sit back, moan and blame someone else.

She says those who don't like the way their life is going need to change it

“But if you are unhappy with what you are or what you have achieved in life then change it. I always get comments that I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth and daddy’s money helped me start my businesses. Well, that couldn’t be further from the truth.”

Luisa finished her rant by saying that she feels sorry for those who hate on successful people. “I have come to the conclusion that jealousy is a disease, encompassing every cell of someone’s body, spreading like a bad case of impetigo from one unsuccessful person to another.

“To those people I say – get well soon guys, I feel for you.”
