Emmerdale actress Lucy Pargeter has hinted things are about to heat up for her character Chas Dingle.
The star has spoken out about Chas’s love life, suggesting a new romance is on the cards.
And, while she’s not giving much away, she is excited about her upcoming storylines.
She told the Daily Star Sunday: “When I heard the rumour, I was very happy about it.”
Meanwhile, the star is so happy working on the soap that she plans to stay as long as show bosses want her.
She joined the series in 2002 and doesn’t have any plans to leave – ever.
She said: “I never expected to still be here nearly 15 years later.
“I always hoped but never expected it. As soon as you walk in the building you know you want to stay.
“I think she show is just brilliant, and I’m extremely happy and proud to be here for however long the soap gods want me.”
