Belle's famous dad Tamer Hassan managed to get on the ITV show
It recently came to light that only six Love Island 2019 contestant actually applied for the show with ITV chief executive Dame Carolyn McCall admitting: "On series five of Love Island to date (15 July), there have been 36 contributors.
"Twenty-four were found and cast by the programme's casting team, six were put forward by professional agents and six came through the general application process."
Following the shocking revelation, Belle Hassan has confessed that she was one of the lucky ones who were put forward by an agent.

Amy is the 26-year-old Islander from Sussex who has never had a boyfriend before.She worked as an air hostess and cabin crew manager for British Airways for eight years.On launch night, Amy announced on Instagram that she had left her old job to "start a new adventure."Amy has also taken part in beauty pageants and was crowned Miss United Kingdom in the Miss Beautiful International Pageant in 2017.
During a chat with Closer Online, she explained: "I had a conversation with my dad and he asked me if I wanted to do the show.
"I didn't really think much of it and before I knew it one of his friends [got me in contact] with someone at ITV and then I did the audition and started the application process."
Unlike his other half, Anton Danyluk confessed that he was one of the lucky six who actually applied for the show.
"I went through the whole application process. I did the first one minute video and from there I met producers, then I had a medical and then I met the executive producers and then I was ready to go."

We recently caught up with Joe Garrett and he confessed he also applied for the show: "I sent a video in and had like three / four interviews. I had medicals and stuff like that.
"It's a proper rigorous process."
Amy Hart is another star who applied for Love Island and she admitted that after she found out she was going into the villa just six weeks before the show began.
"My little brother wasn't happy with me going on to start with because of the trolling and his friends having to see me on TV.
"But by the time I went in everyone was really supportive. I was actually really lucky I found out six weeks before I went and I still wasn't ready."
