The 32-year-old wore a black crop top and flared black trousers – and some fans took to Twitter to express their concern.
Her appearance quickly sparked a debate, picked up by ITV’s Loose Women yesterday.
But the panel, featuring Andrea McLean, Nadia Sawalha, Jamelia and Jane More, received backlash after insisting Cheryl was sending a negative image to her young fans.
Nadia even went as far as to label the former Girls Aloud singer ‘anorexic chic’.
Twitter erupted, slamming the Loose Women. One user wrote: “The s*** that [they] were saying about cheryl today was disgusting. Body shaming another woman is the lowest of the low [sic].”
Another said: “Loose Women saying Cheryl should cover up because she’s gone thinner??? Um no she still looks hot let her wear what she likes.”
Cheryl recently blasted online trolls for commenting on her weight.
Hitting back at a follower who labelled her a ‘bag of bones’, Cheryl fumed: “I am so sick and tired of it being OK to call somebody too thin. I would never dream of calling somebody too fat and that they should maybe cut down on their food intake? What’s the difference? [sic].
“You have no idea what I’ve been through. Just losing my father in law v recently and everything that comes with that. Not that I am or should justify myself to anyone [sic].”
