She's used to seeing the stereotypical idea of perfection on a daily basis, but Lina Hodgkins is all too aware that there's so much more to life.

The 54-year-old spoke exclusively to Closer Online about why she's launching a campaign to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support – and why people need to start accepting their bodies.

She told us: "I did a lingerie shoot for Life On Marbs, which was a little bit scary, but I did it to empower women. I wanted to show them you don't have to be perfect, particularly living in Marbella. I think people have too many body issues and I actually don't believe in perfection."

Off the back of the shoot, Lina, who runs Linekers Group in Marbella, has decided to start a selfie campaign to raise money for charity, after being affected by cancer in a big way.

"I have a friend who is fighting cancer at the moment and I thought well why not try to do something that will make a difference to Macmillan. I want people to strip to their undies and do something comical – it's not about looking amazing, it's about having fun. Be creative, but nothing sexual," she said.

"Then you hashtag #BantsInYourPants and #Macmillan, you nominate three other people and you make a donation of £3 to Macmillan. It's all about raising as much money as we possible can. It's very easy to donate."

She'll be nominating all of her Marbs friends

Lina understands it's not just those who are diagnosed with cancer that are impacted, it's the friends, the family and the staff who care for them.

She continued: "My friend is battling a very rare form of cancer at the moment, and it doesn't just effect her, it effects the whole family.

"I think the Macmillan nurses work tirelessly and they must see so much grief. It would be amazing if we could raise even just enough money to maybe get another nurse for one year. It's as simple as that."

So join them and take a selfie just like this!

Although she spends her life surrounded by the rich and famous who go to Marbella for a good time, Lina knows the importance of giving back.

"I work hard but I live quite a luxurious lifestyle," she admitted. "So it is nice to give something in return. My friend will love it – I've message everyone and told them 'You've got to do it'. I said, 'Think about what she's going through, this is nothing'."

*If you want to join Lina and make a difference: take your selfie, post it online with #BantsInYourPants and #Macmillan and text BANT88 and the amount (e.g. BANT88 £3) to 70070. *
