The 28-year-old reality star recently revealed that she and Jake McLean have called time on their relationship, telling new! magazine: “We haven’t had any major rows and nothing has actually happened but we are both stressed out with our own lives and I seem to bear the brunt of it.

She added: “Don’t get me wrong, it’s horrible but what I do know is that I can’t afford to have anything or anyone distract me from my focus.”

But, despite the heartbreak, Lauren Goodger is doing everything she can to empower herself.

Taking to Instagram this week, she shared a glamorous selfie - and penned an inspiring message to go with it.

It read: “I can see my future and I can't wait to meet you.”

And, to make it even clearer that she’s not dwelling on her recent breakup, she then used the following hashtags: “#everythinghappensforareason #focused #fit #clean #loyal #career #independent #changed #grown #strong”
