Former TOWIE star Lauren, 28, slammed the 38-year-old social commentator on Twitter and insisted she was attention seeking.

Lauren wrote: “Who is this big ugly nose witch.. Look at it loves the attention.. Wat a horrible weirdo!Worst clothes Ive seen!If Iwas in the house with her [sic]”

However Lauren, who took part in the last series of CBB, almost softened towards former Apprentice contestant Katie towards to the end of the night.

She wrote: “Katie is a horrible women [sic].. But she is making me laugh.. This is going to be TV gold !!! #vile”

Some of Lauren’s followers remarked that it was ironic for her to be calling someone out for attention seeking, with one saying: “The irony!”

Another said: “Coming from the biggest attention seeker on Twitter.”

Lauren wasn’t the only person who responded badly to Katie entering the house, but most grudgingly admitted she would make good TV.

One Twitter user wrote: “OK I totally hate Katie Hopkins and disagree with 99% of what she says but it’s gonna defo make good viewing #CBB [sic]”

Katie is in the house along with stars including Calum Best, Patsy Kensit and Perez Hilton.
