Lauren Goodger insists she’s done recycling her exes: ‘They’re not the ones for me’

Lauren Goodger has definitely had something of a tumultuous love life; from her infamous on-and-off relationship with Mark Wright (which is now permanently OFF as he’s engaged to Michelle Keegan) to her dramatic love affair with Jake McLean, the Essex girl has had her heart broken more than a few times.

But, rather than let this turn her into a pessimist, it turns out Lauren is still hoping to find her very own Prince Charming and getting that happy ever after she’s been dreaming of.

Although, after sitting down to watch Disney’s Cinderella, the 28-year-old will be taking a new approach to relationships from now on.

Writing in her column for New!, she revealed: “I went to the cinema to see the new Cinderella film and I thought it was amazing.

“I reposted a quote about fairytales not just existing in books and movies and, after watching the film, I totally believe it’s true.

“There was a really strong message at the end about someone loving and accepting the ‘bare’ you. I cried my eyes out!”

She continued: “However much I’ve held on to relationships and gone back to my exes in the past, they’ve obviously not been the ones for me.

“The message in the film made me realise that there is someone out there and I’ll find him when the time is right.”

Lauren finished happily: “I’m glad I haven’t rushed into any new relationships.”
