‘There are many ways to have a family. I would love one in the future.’

Kylie, who split with Spanish Andres Velencoso last year after 5 years together, was asked if her song ‘Flower’ was about her desire to have a family.

The pop singer said: ‘That was written in 2007, but going through cancer means there's a lot of unknowns - whether you can or can't have children. Cancer doesn't happen and go away and you're done with it.’

The star battled breast cancer in 2005 and triumphantly beat the disease before making a musical comeback.

The 45-year-old singer continued: ‘For a woman, everyone's story is different. Here are a million different versions of a cancer story but, for me, that was something I had to being to accept back then, which is not what you want to expect.’

When Kylie’s sister Danni welcomed son Ethan- now four- the singer admitted that she became broody following his birth.

If Kylie decided to adopt she’ll join the likes of Madonna and Angelina Jolie who have also decided to adopt children and give them a better life.
