Kim Kardashian and Kanye West ‘refuse to sell photos’ of baby North and will travel in a ‘military style car’

Kanye will reportedly splash out £800,000 for an ‘armoured SUV’ so that his family can travel safely around Los Angeles. The rumour follows claims that the new parents are turning down $3 million for a photo of their child.

Kim Kardashian made her first public appearances this week following the birth of daughter North West, but it looks as if we’re going to have to wait a lot longer to see a glimpse of her and Kanye’s child.

According to a British newspaper, Kanye is to purchase a Chevrolet Kodiak, similar to the model in which President Obama rides, alongside an ‘armoured SUV’ made to military specifications.

Sources close to the star have revealed that the high alert security measure has been inspired by celebrity pal Jay Z, who took similar steps when his wife Beyonce gave birth to their daughter back in 2012.

An insider said:

“Kanye is fully aware that his new family is so high-profile they attract the attention of weirdos and psychopaths,” adding: “He aims to leave nothing to chance."

“His priority is to get delivery of the vehicles, especially Kim’s, before he begins his US tour in October.”

It has also been reported that Kanye has insisted that the family have bodyguards with them at all times and that he has been toying with the idea of employing body doubles to throw potential kidnappers off their tracks.

The kidnap-proof car will help the couple’s attempt to keep baby North, nicknamed Nori, out of the public eye.

Sources have revealed to an American website that the pair initially toyed with the idea of selling the photos and donating the money to charity, but decided against it.
