Sunrise tweeted following the interview: ‘We thought it was a technical glitch but turns out @KhloEkardashian's people pulled the plug after @Sam_armytage asked about baby North.’

Khloe retaliated, claiming that the interview did NOT come to a halt over questions about her 8 month old niece.

'Why would I cut an interview short because of North?’ she Tweeted. ‘Get over yourself Sunrise... The call dropped... stop reaching for a story.’

‘You are so f**king desperate!’

Khloe later apologized for her outburst, blaming her alter ego: ‘Sorry KhloMoney took my phone.’

The show’s producer, Michael Pell, later Tweeted: ‘What happened with @khloekardashian on the show is a good lesson for publicists everywhere. Don't try to censor natural conversation.’

Sunrise’s host David Koch didn’t hold back when it came to discussing the matter.

‘Brie's (his daughter) going to be very angry with me criticising Khloe, but she's an idiot.’

He continued: ‘I'm sorry… I'm sorry to do that.’

Co-host Samantha Armytage criticised the star, saying that she couldn’t expect to plug her new clothing range aimed at babies without talking about her own nieces and nephews.

‘Our information from LA was that the plug was pulled when we talked about baby North,’ she said.

‘We were not given any information that that was off limits, you are launching a babies' clothing line, which you yourself admitted was inspired by your nieces and nephews.’
