Her romance with husband of 11 months George Kay has endured an endless series of ups and downs, with reports last month she’d kicked him out of their family home in Oxfordshire and was relocating to a new Sussex pad.
And just when it seemed as though the pair’s relationship was back on track – with George moving into the new home earlier this month – Kerry Katona was hit by fresh drama two weeks ago when it was reported he’d been arrested in July and released on bail on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. It’s thought his arrest happened around the time the couple were estranged.
However, police confirmed last week that no further action would be taken.
And sources say that, despite all the drama, mum-of-five Kerry – who has Molly, 13, and Lilly-Sue, 12, with Brian McFadden, and Heidi, eight, Max, seven, with Mark Croft and 14-month-old Dylan Jorge with George – is refusing to give up on the marriage and has vowed to stand by her man no matter what.
A source says: “Kerry is insisting to everyone that she and George are stronger than ever and it’s them against the world. Kerry thinks the arrest was a big misunderstanding but, even so, pals still have doubts that maybe George still isn’t right for her.”
