According to sources at the Daily Star, Kerry, 33, and fiancé George thought they were having a boy and settled on the name George James Katona Kay for their first child.
But, when it was revealed in December they were actually having a daughter, the pair were left struggling to think up a new girl's name.
Now, according to sources close to the pair, the couple have decided to stick to their original choice - but give it a little bit of an update:
“After discovering she was expecting, Kerry did a test which said there was an 86% chance she was having a boy.
“They decided on the name George after the baby’s dad and thought that would be nice. But they were shocked to find out two months ago they were having a girl."
“They had to go back to the drawing board to pick a name but they couldn’t think of anything they wanted.”
The pal added: “They thought about Georgina but worried it sounded a bit old and frumpy. Then Kerry suggested changing the spelling to the female version Jorgie and having James as a second name.
“That’s when they settled on Jorgie James Katona Kay for her. It’s unusual but Kerry has never been one for convention and she thinks it’s lovely.”
What do you think of the unusual baby name?
