Kerry Katona has debuted her new toyboy following her split from fiancé Ryan Mahoney. Kerry, 43, has been seen with personal trainer Paolo Margaglione, who is reportedly 11 years her junior. The pair met on Celebs Go Dating when Kerry signed up to the reality show following her break-up with Ryan in November.
A source tells Closer, ‘Kerry is smitten! She’s already told friends that things feel so different with Paolo. The couple have been dating for almost a month and Kerry has told pals that they’ve covered more emotional ground than she ever did with Ryan.’
Kerry and Ryan, 36, were together for six years and engaged for four of them, and she even said that Ryan was ‘like a dad’ to her children.
Kerry has five children from three marriages – Molly, 21, and Lilly-Sue, 20, with Westlife singer Brian McFadden, Heidi, 16, and Max, 14, with Mark Croft, and DJ, eight, with the late George Kay. Family life is something that is important to both Kerry and Paolo, who is also a dad to two girls. ‘Kerry is hoping that this is the real deal and she can’t wait to introduce him to her kids and meet his daughters too,’ our source tells us.
It even sounds like she’s already thinking about the next step in their relationship as they share that, ‘Kerry is already talking about a wedding and wants to get hitched on the beach in Thailand – her new favourite place. She wants to jet off there to introduce him to her extended family there.'
The former Atomic Kitten star has been notoriously unlucky in love. Although Brian proposed to Kerry just after a month of dating, he cheated on her with a lap dancer on his stag night, which he said was ‘the day my marriage ended’.
During her second marriage with taxi driver Mark, she said she bought him ‘whatever he wanted’ and later accused him of causing her depression. She split from third husband George in 2017, claiming that she and her children were ‘living in fear’, but they faced further heartache in 2019 when he died from an overdose.
Now Kerry’s love life is flourishing with her new toyboy as our source says she’s walking on cloud nine, adding, ‘Never in her wildest dreams did she think she would find love again, especially on Celebs Go Dating. As with everything, Kerry’s 150% into this.’
