The 31-year-old recently revealed her engagement to partner James has has revealed for the first time some of their plans for the ceremony.
She told the Sunday Mirror: "Belle is part of a whole new world I never thought would be accessible.
"Knowing we're going to be a full family unit has really made my life complete. We've been watching her trying to stand up and walk and saying it would be great if she would walk down the aisle with us.
"Plus I think it will be nice for Belle that we'll have the same surname as a family. I can't wait for it all to be official."
In 2008 Katie was the victim of a horrific attack when an ex boyfriend organised for someone to throw sulphuric acid in her face.
Following the attack, which resulted in her needing multiple operations to treat her burns and injuries, Katie admitted she didn't think she'd ever find love.
However having Belle and James proposing has given Katie everything she never thought she'd have.
She continued: "Getting engaged, being a family and our first Christmas as a family. I will always remember this year for those things. We had 29 people for Christmas – his family, my family and it was Belle's first one and was really nice."
