Cheryl, 32, showed off her tiny frame at The X Factor auditions last week, sparking concerns among her fans.
Social commentator Katie, 40, took to her column in The Sun to blast Cheryl and insisted she looked like she needs a good meal.
"I may not be a big fan of chubsters. But little Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is so tinky-tiny I feel cold when I look at her," Katie wrote.
"Cheryl, love, you need a good roast dinner and some thermals."
Celebrity Big Brother runner-up Katie is not the only person who has commented on Cheryl's weight.
The Loose Women panelists discussed the topic, and Nadia Sawalha went as far as to label her 'anorexic chic'.
Even fans of the former Girls Aloud singer voiced their concern on social media.
One user tweeted: "Cheryl is looking emaciated lately! She’s ageing because she’s so think it’s not body shaming I’m a fan, I just think she’s unhealthy! #XFactor [sic].”
It comes after Cheryl hit back at being branded a 'bag of bones', saying skinny shaming is just as hurtful as fat shaming.
