Justin opened up about their marriage during an appearance on the ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ on Wednesday.
When asked his favourite thing about married life, the cheeky pop star echoed his 31-year-old actress wife’s answer to the same question, asked during her November appearance on the show.
He said: ‘Calling her my husband.’
'It's nice to marry your best friend. It suits me'
The 32-year-old added: ‘Every once in a while I can catch a glimpse of her when she doesn't see me looking, and I have this moment where I'm like, 'If you never make a good decision ... if you only make bad decisions for the rest of your life. You made one really good decision.'
‘Because she's just like ... it's nice to marry your friend. It's nice to marry your best friend. It suits me,’ he gushed.
Justin and Jessica dated for four years before officially tying the not in October of 2012 in a private ceremony and reception at Borgo Egnazia resort in Puglia, Italy.
'I do take my time putting out records, because they're special to me'
The typically comical host, surprised Justin with a wedding gift – a framed picture of her and him taken when he was last on the show - to which the singer jokingly replied: ‘We don’t have anything over the bed yet, so there you go.’
Speaking about his musical comeback, following a six-year hiatus, Justin said: ‘It’s great. It’s my favourite thing to do. That’s probably why I do take my time putting out records, because they really are special to me.’
He admitted that the transition from being in boy band ‘N Sync to being a solo artist was challenging: ‘I’d be lying if I probably didn’t confess that with my first two solo records, coming from a group, I think I probably felt like I had a lot to prove.’
But the Suit & Tie singer has come a long way since. Talking about his new album, The 20/20 Experience, he said:
‘It just came out of nowhere and it turned into like I said 20 songs. And I was able to split them up into halves. This is the first half, there’s a whole other [coming out] this fall.’
