Justin Bieber pleads guilty after being caught in ‘illegal street drag race’

Justin Bieber has been ordered to attend an anger management course after pleading guilty to careless driving

Justin Bieber, 20, has pleaded guilty to two charges – careless driving and resisting arrest – seven months after he was apprehended by police in Florida.

The pop star was arrested in January after taking part in an 'illegal street drag race'.

At the time of his arrest, urine tests reportedly showed the presence of marijuana and the anti-anxiety drug Xanax in his system.

He has now been ordered to attend a 12-hour anger management course and fined $50,000 – which his lawyer said he'd already donated to a local kids' charity.

The star later took to Instagram to share a message with his fans, posting a photograph of a note which read: 'Lead by example'

Bieber recently made headlines after brawling with Pirates Of The Caribbean actor, Orlando Bloom.

The pair reportedly got into an argument - which resulted in Bloom throwing a punch at Bieber - after the Baby singer 'got close' to Orlando's ex-wife Miranda Kerr while they were still married.
