And after spending plenty of time in the UK during the course of her career, it seems the 36-year-old has opted to give a little nod to the nation’s capital, choosing the name Leo Thames Newman for her baby son.
Jaime and husband Kyle welcomed their latest addition on Thursday of last week, revealing on Monday that the little one had arrived safely.
‘We are SO happy to welcome to the world our new baby boy’ Jaime wrote on her Instagram page, accompanied by an intimate snap of the family in the delivery room.
Speaking about naming her new baby last month, Jaime said:
‘Names are never easy, you don't want something to be too Hollywood and out there.
'I want my child to feel strong in life and in business and what they do, but it's still romantic at the same time ... It's not easy, but I like classic and eclectic mixed together so it's a bit of both of my worlds at the same time.'
And it seems Jaime has achieved the perfect mix with her choice of name, with Leo meaning ‘Lion.’ Thames of course originates from the river that flows through London and southern England - originally deriving from an old Celtic word ‘Tamesa’ - which supposedly meant ‘river’ or ‘dark one.’
