Taking to her Instagram account on Tuesday, the Australian rapper shared a photo of her huge rock, alongside the caption ‘#happiestday.’

The couple, who have been dating for a year, looked seriously loved up in a series of snaps Iggy then posted to her photo sharing site, embracing passionately in the latest.

And it seems that Nick Young, a professional basketball player, did not disappoint in the ring department, surprising Iggy with an 8.15 carat ring surrounded by 2.28 carats of diamonds.

All set in white gold, it is though the ring will have set the sportsman back half a million dollars.

Taking to his Instagram page, Nick wrote: ‘She said yes. It’s over man. I’m getting married!’

A clip of the moment he proposed was also posted to the social media site, where onlookers can be heard whooping and clapping as Nick gets down on one knee.
