Calum, 34, released a statement about their break-up and, ever the gentleman, wished Ianthe, 23, all the best for the future.
He told Hello! magazine: “I am blessed to have met the incredible Ianthe. She is the first girl I really loved and I’ll remember the time we spent together with so much fondness.
“Unfortunately we have had to go our separate ways, however I wish her nothing but the best and truly hope we remain friends.”
However Ianthe took to Twitter yesterday to say: “There are two sides to every story…”
Gorgeous Calum’s admission that Ianthe was his first love should come as a blow to his many famous exes.
The model and actor has enjoyed high profile relationships with stars including Lindsay Lohan and Sarah Harding, but previously confessed that Ianthe is the first women he’s introduced to his mother Angie.
He said: “I’ve been a pretty closed book in relationships. I’ve kept a lot private, not wanting to let people get too close.
“But they get on so great. My mum can see how crazy I am about Ianthe, and she’s thrilled that she’s come into my life.
“I have honestly never felt this strongly about anyone before or wanted to evolve a relationship as much as I do this one. And that feels really great.”
Ianthe also revealed tweeted that she’s planning a move abroad later this year – could Calum’s reluctance to have a long distance relationship have caused the break-up?
She wrote: “Excited at the thought of moving to Cape Town for a couple of months in October [sic]”
