We tend to tune into ITV’s This Morning with a cuppa and a biscuit, expecting a nice cosy few hours with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

But, this morning, there was an added dose of drama when a studio lamp exploded live on television.
The duo were sat together with Cover the guide dog, who was showing off her newest batch of clever tricks for viewers back home.
But, as the pooch was sitting beside Phil, there was a loud bang and a flash - giving Holly the fright of her life!
The blonde mum-of-three jumped in shock, shouting: “Oh my god, what was that?!”
However Phil, despite his initial surprise, managed to calm down his co-host (and BFF) with a joke.
“What I love is that the lamp exploded and everyone jumped, apart from Clover,” he laughed, praising the trainee guide dog.
He also made sure to check that everyone behind the camera was alright following the mishap.

A person behind the camera soon explained to a flustered Holly that the explosion was nothing to worry about - it was just a studio lightbulb that had gone out with a bang.
"How often does that happen?" she asked them.
Phil, a veteran of This Morning, reassured her: "Quite regularly."
Finally able to see the funny side, Holly let slip that she very nearly dropped the F-bomb when the big bang occurred.
"We’re so lucky that the only thing that came out of my mouth was 'Oh my god'…"
A clearly-amused Phil replied: "The country is so lucky you didn't swear."
Holly, giggling at how well her friend knows her, added: "I almost feel like I have to apologise for what I said in my head!"
We don’t blame you one bit, Holly - we doubt we’d have been anywhere near as calm as Phil and Clover if we’d been on set at the time!
