The 28-year-old former sex worker claimed parents were to blame for children being sexually active and gave her own thoughts on how to cutdown on teenage pregnancy.

Big Brother winner Helen, who revealed she lost her virginity at 14 and had a child two years later, agrees that something needs to be done to cut down on the amount of young people having children.

Writing in her column for the Daily Star, she said: “I do believe that all young girls turning 13 should be fitted with the implant – a small contraceptive rod that lasts three years, stopping any unwanted pregnancies and therefore reducing teen mums, as well as preventing the vile number of abortions that take place.”

Helen does not agree with contraception being offered to girls so young

Opening up about her own first time, Helen admitted it was a ‘stupid’ mistake.

She said: “I lied to my folks about where I was going, my friend’s parents went along with the lie (nice) and allowed me and my mate to drink at the pub with older lads.

“Doesn’t take a genius to work out what happened next: virginity taken, innocence demolished, then the embarrassment of EVERYONE at school knowing what I had done at the weekend.”

Helen said that, instead of introducing girls as young as 10 to contraception and therefore sex, parents and schools must do everything they can to protect their innocence.

She insists that parents and schools should be doing everything they can to protect the innocence of children

She said: “To think of my child being 14, supposedly at a sleepover with popcorn and Fruit Shoots, but really having sex then returning home with a hangover, alone, hiding through the guilt of what might happen if I found out, crying to pieces in the shower, so repulsed at what they had done, makes me feel sick to the stomach.

“No child of mine will be needing contraception at 10, that age is barbaric and I blame the parenting. I mean, FFS, they should being to Legoland not reenacting a Grand Theft Auto character.”
