Frankie Sandford on run-in with the police: ‘They found my sister in bed with me and my hubby’

Frankie and her husband, Wayne Bridge, found themselves more than a little red-faced when the police showed up at their house the other day - only to find them in bed with her sister.

But, of course, there was a very simple (albeit hilarious) explanation.

Speaking via her column in OK! Magazine, Frankie - who is due to give birth this summer - explained that they had suffered a power cut in the middle of the night whilst they were all sleeping.

But, when the power came back on in the early hours of the morning, it triggered all of their house alarms - causing absolute mayhem.

She said: “We had no idea the power was off and when it came back on at 5am it set off our house alarm, followed by the panic alarm.

“Parker woke up screaming and came into our bed and then my sister, Tor - who’s living at our place at the moment - panicked and jumped in with us, too!

“Wayne was running around in his pants trying to work out what was going on and then the police arrived. Even if you say everything’s okay, they still have to check the whole house, so when they came into our room we were all in bed together!

“Wayne really awkwardly said: ‘She’s not always in our bed, she’s my sister-in-law’."

Thankfully, the police didn't bat an eyelid - we guess they've seen all sorts before!

She explained: “They were like, don’t worry, we’re not judging!

“It was so embarrassing but we’ve been laughing about it since.

“At least the fire service didn’t show up, too!”

We’ve all been there, Frankie, don’t worry.
