With just over a week to go until our annual trip Down Under, it’s been reported Ferne McCann has joined the line-up of stars entering the I’m a Celebrity jungle.

It comes after reports both Chloe Sims and Gemma Collins were rejected from the show after failing their psych tests.

But Ferne, 25, is said to have come to ITV bosses’ rescue and agreed to take part in the show.

A source told The Sun: “TOWIE stars make such great contestants and we were determined to get one of them this year.”

Ferne is not one to bite her tongue, and is regularly seen getting into arguments on the ITVBe reality show – something which I’m a Celeb are hoping she’ll continue in the jungle.

The source continued: “Ferne is incredibly outspoken and she can be a bit of a stirrer. So if she rubs some of her camp-mates up the wrong way, sparks will really fly.”

Ferne has yet to comment on the reports, but a spokesperson for I’m a Celebrity told MailOnline: “Any names suggested at this stage are speculation.”

If Ferne does take part, she could be joined in Australia by Vicky Pattison, Jake Wood and Spencer Matthews.
