The 40-year-old crooner answered a fan’s question about what she should call her daughter, replying:

‘Or a regal name, a royal name like Elizabeth or Janet Jackson. She’s royalty to me.’

‘The honest advice I’d give is if you haven’t decided on a name is when that beautiful baby is born you’re just going to know, you’re gonna look at her and you’re gonna know.

‘But you could just call her Peter if you want with an “A”. Just saying.’

The Mysterious Girl singer announced Emily’s pregnancy in his column in July, writing:

‘We were going to keep this to ourselves a little bit longer, but as everyone's been asking, I am very happy to tell you that Emily and I are having a baby, and we are over the moon.’

‘Emily will make a brilliant mum.’ he added.

Peter and 23-year-old Emily have been dating for just over a year and will welcome their first child together in 2014.

The Australian singer is also father to children — son Junior, eight, and daughter Princess Tiaamii, six — from his marriage to Katie Price.
