Expose 'Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology' is sending shockwaves across Hollywood, and with good reason.
The book makes a number of shocking allegations, amongst them claiming that during Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise's wedding, daughter Suri was 'left crying on the bathroom floor'.
Describing the evening of Cruise and Holmes' wedding, author Leah Remini says she saw seven-month-old Suri crying on the bathroom floor at the plush venue.
According to Remini, when she went back to check on the baby five minutes later, three women were staring at Suri as though she was a 'L Ron Hubbard Incarnate'- the religion's founder.
Leah writes that she eventually persuaded the women to pick up crying Suri and give her a bottle of warm milk.
Even more shockingly Remini claims she shared a ride to the airport with Cruise and Kidman's adopted children Bella and Connor following the 2006 Cruise-Holmes ceremony, and the children admitted they 'do not speak to their mum unless forced'.
‘Not if I have a choice,’ Bella said, according to the book. ‘Our mom is a f*****g SP.’
In Scientology terminology, SP is an acronym for Suppressive Person, an enemy of the church.
Responding to Leah's recent interview with ABC, the Church of Scientology released a statement, part of which reads:
"Leah Remini has become what she once declared she never wanted to be known as: “this bitter ex-Scientologist.” As USA Today wrote, Ms. Remini is “as famous for being an ex-Scientologist as she is as an actress.” She needs to move on with her life instead of pathetically exploiting her former religion, her former friends and other celebrities for money and attention to appear relevant again."
