Dermot O’Leary made his name presenting Big Brother’s Little Brother and The X Factor, is set to switch things up in his new television project.

Murder In Successville, which is described as a "hybrid comedy, entertainment and murder mystery show”, is set to air on BBC3 in the not-so-distant future.

In the improvised show, Dermot - including a whole host of other celebs - will play a cop tasked with pinning a killer.

And he will be joined by none other than Got To Dance’s Kimberley Wyatt.

Speaking to the Daily Star about the role, Kimberley said: “My agent told me, ‘I don’t know how to explain the show but you’ve got to do it because it’s hilarious.

“You find out if you can do improv and are willing to do anything they ask you to do. And I was!”

That’s definitely got our interests piqued - especially as it seems as if Dermot and Kimberley will not be the only famous faces in the show.

Opening up about the project, the BBC said: "The show is set in Successville, a fictional town brimming with celebrities such as Gordon Ramsey, Cheryl Cole, the Cowells and the Beckhams.

“It's a surreal place that also has an unfortunately high incidence of celebrity homicide.

"Attempting to keep a lid on it all is Successville's greatest detective, DCI Sleet, who each week enlists the help of a real celebrity guest sidekick to solve the latest high profile celebrity homicide."

Murder In Successville starts April 27 on BBC3 at 10pm - but will you be watching?
