Remembering his humiliation, red-faced Becks admitted:
‘One of mine was surprising! The Clayton Blackmore!
‘Everyone had an initiation that you had to go through on the youth team, that was one of the most uncomfortable ones!
‘The fact that I had to look at Clayton Blackmore’s calendar and do certain things, while looking at Clayton Blackmore…’
The 38-year-old father-of-four added:
‘It’s something that we all had to go through. It was definitely something I wouldn’t like to go through again!’
The football star admitted that it had been his lifelong dream to be a footballer, but his massive celebrity status was a surprising ‘bonus’.
And speaking (rather randomly) about his choice of actor if a biopoc was ever to be made of him, the former England captain said:
‘I think Brad would be the obvious choice. I'd like Brad to be playing me - him or Leonardo DiCaprio, one of the two. Or Bradley Cooper.
‘They're not bad looking guys.’
Nor are you Becks, nor are you.
