The EastEnders star has taken aim at the 50-year-old talk show presenter, and accused him of ‘exploiting’ the people who go on his show for help with problems such as drugs, alcohol and relationships.
Taking particular offence to the fact Jeremy is a fan of his beloved West Ham United, Danny: “West Ham don’t allow w_nkers. That’s it. If you’re a w_nker, there are plenty of clubs for you – I don’t have to name ‘em.”
Writing in his new book, Danny claimed Jeremy uses other peoples’ problems for entertainment purposes.
He continued: “I despise Jeremy Kyle, every bone in his stuck-up, sanctimonious, two-faced body. He’s a smug exploiter of misery, a nasty piece of work.
“To me he’s a Judas, smiling to peoples’ faces, luring them on his show and then turning on them for ‘entertainment’.”
Danny – who plays lovable Mick Carter in the BBC One soap – had made one request for Jeremy.
He added: “Right from the bottom of my heart, Jeremy, if there’s any spark of humanity in you, any at all, keep away from Upton Park.”
Danny’s book, Life Lessons from the East End, is out now.
