On 16th December 2015, Simon Gregson confirmed that his beautiful wife Emma had welcomed a healthy baby.

The Coronation Street star made the announcement on Twitter, with the message: "After talking to a belly for 9 months, I can now talk to a beautiful little face and know it's not Mr Hanky.

"Myself and @emmagleave are thrilled."

And now, finally, the couple have revealed their little one’s name.

Are you ready for this?

It’s Henry Teddy!

The name Henry means “home, while the name Teddy means “rich and happy” - so it seems as if Simon and Emma have christened their little one with names destined to bring him good fortune.

Speaking to OK! Magazine, the couple revealed that their two older sons, Alfie, eight, and Harry, six were anxiously looking forward to meeting their new brother, but they had a bit of a wait on their hands.

Emma told the publication: “I went into slow labour at 36 weeks so we kept saying, ‘It won’t be long,’ then it kind of went on forever.

“Every day they’d come home from school and ask if Henry was here yet. I was having contractions every hour from week 36.

“That lasted for a month.”

Unsurprisingly, Emma found the labour VERY tiring - but, at the end of it, she welcomed a beautiful and healthy baby boy, weighing 8lb1oz.

And it seems as if Simon, who recently announced he intended to take a break from Corrie, has been doing all he can to help out with the new baby.

He recently tweeted (presumably from Henry Teddy’s changing table): “I would like to shake hands with whoever invented the wet wipe but only if I had a wet wipe handy…”

The jokester later added: “The hunt for brown October has finally ended and a tiny little man can smile once more!”

N’aww, we couldn’t love this little family more.

Congratulations to Simon and Emma once again on the birth to their third child!
