Rolf Harris was jailed for five years and nine months last July after being found guilty of sexually assaulting children as young as eight between 1968 and 1986.
But, despite this, it has been revealed that the disgraced entertainer is making a fortune from inside his prison cell.
A source told the Sunday People: "He is a convicted paedophile and yet he is making a large sum of money.
"All he has to do is sit in his cell and his fortune grows."
The 84-year-old allegedly invested his multi-million pound earnings from his long-running career as a TV star, musician and artist.
According to The Sunday People, his companies were worth £8.5million at the time of his sentencing.
Now the newspaper has said that new figures have shown that his earnings have shot up by £290,000.
Meanwhile his fellow inmates are said to be earning no more than £7 a day performing chores.
A prison source said: "It won’t go down too well that they are having to work to earn a few pounds when he is getting richer by doing nothing."
