The 29-year-old, who is married to Man Utd. footballer Wayne Rooney, already has two sons - Kai, 5, and Klay, 2, but told OK! magazine this week that they’ve got their fingers crossed for a girl this time around.

‘Hopefully the anticipation of the sex will make the labour go a bit quicker’ said Coleen, who has chosen not to find out the unborn baby’s gender before the birth.

‘It’s also exciting for the boys not to know wether they’ll be having a little brother or sister. I’d love a girl because it would complete the family.’

Wayne and Coleen announced that they were expecting their third child together last month, with the new arrival due to make an appearance in January 2015.

‘Baby number 3 is on the way’ Coleen wrote on Twitter. ‘We are so happy and excited.’

And despite knowing things will be even busier with three kids, Coleen seems level headed about the whole situation, telling Now: ‘You’ve got to juggle your time a bit better.’

‘Kai’s now in school full-time and Klay goes to nursery a couple of days a week, so I think I’ll be fine.’
