Christine Bleakley has decided that she will not have IVF to get pregnant by her husband Frank Lampard
TV presenter Christine Bleakley has revealed that she will not be having IVF to conceive with her ex-footballer husband Frank Lampard.
The 38-year-old, who married Frank, 39, in 2015, previously stated on the Loose Women panel that she would be willing to try the procedure in order to become pregnant.
But the former One Show presenter has now done a U-turn on her previous comments, ruling it out.
Speaking to The Mail on Sunday's You magazine, Christine explained that they "hadn't thought" about it, for fear that the "traumatic" experience would put undue strain on their relationship.
She said: "I know friends who have torn themselves apart and jeopardised their relationship because going through IVF was so traumatic and I don't know if I could do that to myself or Frank."

But Christine added that she'd be happy without having her own biological child, as she is already step-mum to Frank's two daughters, Luna, 11, and Isla, 10.
She said: "I'm not one of those women who was thinking about babies at the age of 18, and when I first met Frank it wasn't on the agenda.
"If it happens, it happens, but right now all is well in my world as it is."
She went on to say that she was constantly being asked whether she would be having a baby, joking that people were "fascinated" by her "body clock".
She added: "As far as I am concerned, my attitude is that I will wait and see what happens. I'm not pushing myself. I'm not getting stressed or unhappy. I'm a believer in what will be will be."
