The 31-year-old and Elliott, 33, got back together over Christmas and Chloe thinks that was the problem.
Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: “We got back [together] at a really stressful time of year – it was Christmas and obviously we’re both parents so it was quite a difficult time for a new couple. It should be really romantic and it wasn’t – it was really hectic.
“I’m glad we got back together and gave it a go and I really did put my whole heart and soul into it but it just didn’t work out.”
While single Chloe is on the hunt for someone new, she revealed she’s looking for a different type of man – suggesting Elliott was a bit too perfect.
She said: “[I’m looking for] anyone but Mr Right. Mr Wrong, I’m looking for.”
Chloe and Elliott’s break-up came just after an Instagram post sparked pregnancy rumours.
“It was so annoying,” she said. “They took the one from Christmas day and went ‘yeah, she’s showing there’. I thought, ‘oh my God, I’ve eaten too many carbs’.
“Since then, I’ve not eaten carbs and I’ve joined the gym. I thought I can’t have all this.”
It was reported earlier this month that Chloe and Elliott split following a series of blazing rows.
