Katie kickstarted the year by going to Parliament with her son Harvey. The mum-of-five was campaigning against internet trolling, which Harvey continues to be a victim of. She said that she had already been successful in having two people arrested because of trolling, explaining: "I got two people arrested, (the police) seized all their computers, they seized everything, took them quite far, but then it got to the point where they can't charge them with nothing because there's nothing in place for it". Fans showed off their mean streak by saying Katie 'lives like a pig' after Keith Lemon toured her mansion on Through The Keyhole. During his visit, Keith almost stepped in poo, he referred to her swimming pool as a swamp and he was quick to point out that there was "a pile of tat that's been discarded," near the front door.

2018 started to take a real downwards turn when Katie was forced to deny allegations that she showed a TV audience a graphic sex tape of her ex-husband Alex Reid. She took to Twitter to write: "I take online bullying and revenge porn seriously. My family have been subjected to such and I have been the victim of revenge porn. I would not do it to someone else."

Katie was left devastated when her dog Queenie was killed in a hit and run. Kieran Hayler had bought her Queenie the German Shepherd for her 38th birthday. Animal lover Katie wrote on Instagram: "I'm absolutely devastated heartbroken my faithful loving family dogs life Queenie has been shortened as she was killed by a heartless delivery driver who ran into our dog seeing her struggle and drove off without telling us and left her to die very disappointed a human being can be this heartless!"

Katie's former nanny, Nikki Brown, FINALLY admitted to having an affair with Kieran after months of denying it. Katie had ended her marriage to Kieran the previous year because of the affair. The confirmation came amid an employment tribunal against the former glamour model, through which Nikki wanted to claim back "thousands" in unpaid wages.

Katie pulled out of the 42 kilometre race between the 10 to 15K mark of the London Marathon, which she was running to raise money for the British Lung Foundation (her mum Amy has terminal lung disease). Fans were then outraged when she was snapped smoking a cigarette a week later.

Proving she was well and truly over cheating ex-Kieran Hayler, Katie gave TOWIE star James 'Arg' Argent a lap dance on a night out in Essex. In a video posted to the restaurant's Instagram account, Katie could be seen gyrating against a shyly grinning Arg.

Katie celebrated her 40th birthday in the most Pricey way possible: with a saucy strip tease! Her friend Shane Cooper - the lucky recipient of the dance - shared a video on social media, along with the caption: "Happy 40th birthday to one of my most craziest friends! Lot's of love and celebrations ud83dudc95."

Katie soon found herself in a whirlwind romance with personal trainer Kris Boyson, and she quickly revealed shock pregnancy plans for baby number six (fast work, right?). A source told Closer at the time: "Katie's only been dating Kris a matter of weeks, but she told her inner circle last week that she wouldn't be surprised if she was already pregnant. She's always been desperate for a sixth child and doesn't see the point of waiting. She wants to make it work with Kris, but if he doesn't stick around she doesn't care."

As Katie continued partying with new man Kris, her ex-husband Peter Andre took Junior and Princess for the summer, after reportedly banning Katie from seeing them.

Talking about the breakdown of her five-year marriage to Kieran, Katie claimed that Kieran had cheated again, with a 19-year-old woman - this was the final nail in the coffin.

According to insiders, the major reason Katie was determined to move on so fast with Kris was to get revenge on ex Kieran after his numerous infidelities. The source told Closer that Katie had been lining up a string of men in a desperate bid to find husband number four and enjoyed a brief romance with footballer Shane Duffy.

After it was confirmed that Peter would be looking after Princess and Junior full-time for the foreseeable future, Katie responded to reports that her other children were being put into care. During an Instagram Live video, she said: "I'd like to clarify I'm not the person in the papers today whose kids have been banned or taken away from them. I've not been banned from seeing my kids either."

Katie made the drugs confession in a video of herself rapping. She was pictured partying until the early hours with Kris at a nightclub in Devon after being hit by shock claims that she'd taken cocaine to cope with her recent marriage collapse. Katie tweeted her ex-husband Peter to ask him if their kids Princess and Junior were OK after a tragic shooting took place in the area they were holidaying in. She tweeted: "Still up at this hour, trying to contact my kids in America. Been trying Morning, Afternoon and Night. Please @MrPeterAndre let me know they are ok? ud83dude4f" This came following the news that Peter 'banned' her from seeing their kids.

It was reported that Katie split from Kris Boyson after he bragged about their sex life to friends and wanted to be paid for his appearance on her aptly named TV show My Crazy Life.

Katie's house suffered 'thousands of pounds' of smoke damage after a fire, which was reportedly caused by candles to mask the smell of her pets. It started in five-year-old Jett's bedroom, spread through the hallway and caused serious smoke damage to her West Sussex mansion.

Katie checked into rehab after being diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, which is said to have caused her 'drug binges'.

Katie was arrested after allegedly crashing her £75k Range Rover in South East London. She had left The Priory early and went out to celebrate the 30th birthday party of ex-boyfriend Kris Boyson.

Despite still seeing ex-flame Kris Boyson, Katie started dating millionaire Alex Adderson. Apparently, they went on several dates before Katie split with Kris, before making the new romance official in September. Sounds complicated, right?
