She might be dealing with heartache (and a very high profile divorce) at the moment but Cheryl Fernandez-Versini was all smiles for the camera as she was reunited with her good friend and hunky photographer, Mariano Vivanco, for a top-secret photoshoot earlier in the week.

The fashion photographer, who has worked with the likes of Miranda Kerr, Eva Mendes and Emma Watson, shared the stunning shots to his Instagram on Friday saying:

“Working 9-5 @cheryloffcial #Vivanco40.”

He later posted another with the caption: “Goodnight from Cheryl and me!”

As the shoot wrapped, Cheryl, 32, and Mariano, 40, celebrated their friendly reunion by sharing a tight embrace.

The 40-year-old photographer could be seen wrapping his arms around the former Girls Aloud singer, who pouted at the camera.

But before we get too excited, no it’s not a new romance. Talking to the Daily Star, a source said: “They’re just friends.”

Sharing a black and white version of the photo on her Instagram account, Cheryl gushed: "Reunited and it smells soooo good! @marianovivanco."

She kept coy about the premise of the photoshoot which whipped fans into frenzy as they questioned whether she was working on a new perfume launch or her fifth studio album.
