Since it was announced that Cheryl Fernandez Versini would be joined by two brand new X Factor judges on this year’s series, fans have speculated at how she will get on with the fresh blood.

But it turns out that the singer goes WAY back with one of her new co-judges.

In a hilarious throwback Instagram pic, the 31-year-old revealed that she has known new judge Nick Grimshaw for over 10 years.

In the amazing photo we can barely recognise the stylish star!

Dressed in a camouflage shirt and thin-rimmed specs, the BBC Radio 1 DJ looks completely different.

Fans also couldn’t believe it was Grimmy, with one writing: “That doesn't look like you Grimmy! You have definitely got better with age darling!!”
