Steph, 22, branded fellow housemate Gemma Collins ‘talentless’ during an argument shown on Sunday night’s episode, before blasting the entire cast of the award-winning ITVBe reality show.
The actress, who was sacked from Channel 4’s Hollyoaks for showing up to filming drunk, fumed to 34-year-old Gemma: “You’re off TOWIE. What’s your talent? Nothing.”
Later in the Diary Room, Steph continued her scathing attack on The Only Way Is Essex. She said: “You’ve got talentless people in there like Gemma who think they’re celebrities, but they’re nothing worse than s*** on my shoe.
“Because [they’re] just from a reality TV programme thinking that they can own you and make you do what you [don’t] want to do.”
Steph added: “I’d rather s*** on my own head than ever be like them and the way they are, because I think it’s disgusting.”
Gemma and Steph clashed when the Essex girl criticised her for getting close to Irish hunk Jeremy McConnel – despite the fact she has a boyfriend, Sam Reece, on the outside.
Understandably Gemma’s fellow TOWIE stars were offended by Steph’s attack, especially considering the remarks were made on a reality TV show.
Daniella Armstrong said: “I’m more proud to be on TOWIE then act like a girl that clearly has no respect for herself or boyfriend #GoGemma #CBB [sic].”
Bobby Norris added: “Alright Steph don’t bring all of the #TOWIE cast into it love…
“Everybody is entitled to an opinion, but don’t then base your opinions of that one person onto their colleagues… #CBB [sic].”
Last week First Dates star Sam took to Twitter to suggest he is planning on ending his relationship with Steph when she leaves the show.
Following this, Steph’s Wikipedia page has been been changed to reflect her behaviour in the house.
Former TOWIE star Mario posted a screen grab of it to Twitter, which read: “[Stephanie] is best known for cheating on her ex boyfriend Sam Reece with some Irish geezer called Jeremy, while still in the Big Brother house, completely unaware that he has actually broken up with her on Twitter [sic].”
Mario added: “This is gold…”
Hollyoaks and TOWIE are produced by the same company, Lime Pictures, and Maria Fowler blasted Steph for her lack of loyalty.
She fumed: “This Stephanie is a disgrace… No wonder Hollyoaks sacked her. At least @missgemcollins is actually still working.
“Dunno about everyone else but if I went on CBB no way would I play up like that. Don’t act like a ho when you got a BF. It’s not hard [sic].
“We had to go all the way to Liverpool to get papped with the Hollyoaks cast. Stephanie needs to be grateful for TOWIE [sic.”
Maria added: “& Lime pictures did a press trip TOWIE cast to Hollyoaks to boost their failing ratings Stephanie. Be grateful we kept you in a job. Briefly [sic].”
When Gemma spotted Steph and Jeremy apparently kissing in bed, she said: “It’s so wrong what you’re doing, you’ve got a boyfriend. I think you’re acting like an absolute disgrace.”
