Stephen has raised over £3 million for Teenage Cancer Trust after posting a picture of his ‘final thumbs up’ after being told he was about to lose his battle with cancer.

After managing to tick off some things on his bucket list- of which included meeting several celebrities- his condition miraculously improved when he coughed up a tumour from his lung.

The teenager was later discharged from hospital.

A Twitter troll then claimed they felt ‘duped’ by the cancer patient’s recovery.

The cruel Twitter user wrote: ‘Quick question Stan. That kid you raised 1000s for left hospital how’d that happen? Lots feel duped.’

Stephen hit back, writing: ‘So you know, I still have my cancer and it’s still incurable, if that makes you feel less ‘duped’

He later tweeted to his followers: ‘Trolls and cynics exist… It’s a shame. But just try not to retaliate too aggressively or get too riled.’

‘Like I’ve said before: On the whole people are ‘good’, lets concentrate on that :)’
